Again, very very busy time. The Harvard tournament last weekend was relatively uneventful, although I got to debate with a fantastic novice, Adam, who I intend on debate-stalking throughout the year. He talks good. If I hadn't screwed up royally in the last round, we would have made it into novice finals. But if he forgives me, we shall hopefully debate again. And Jeremy joined the Harvard team! Happiness. Jeremy is a good child.
Last night, much sitting around and chatting occurred on hall. Two guys were talking about a girl that one of them had dated a while back. The first comments, of course, were reminiscing about her physical attractiveness. But they didn't stop there; they started talking about her good taste in movies and music, and the things they did together. It's good to have empirical proof that guys actually remember the personality of the girls they date, even in non-serious, physically-centered relationships.
We still don't have a kitchen, but we've been fully moved out of it so that work can happen. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, we shall be operational once more... *crosses fingers*
In other news, I get to be a Russian torpedo officer aboard a nuclear submarine this weekend for a guild game that, by reputation at least, is utterly fantastic. I look forward to being the most bitter, misogynistic individual aboard...
And now I must turn in a pset for 18.01A. Joy.
