Hello there everyone!

Things going on in my wild and crazy college life include:
- A Three-day Guild game based in the Final Fantasy (video game) universe!
It was a great deal of fun, although I got the role of a politician with no real goals except "You are secretly mind-controlled by some evil creature, go destroy everything". I am _so_ rapidly running out of credibility... But me and my evil buddies did quite well for ourselves, and managed to cause a great deal of political chaos before escaping in a giant warship. More importantly, my costume was _awesome_, and picture(s) will follow at some point.
- Steer Roast, a gigantic three-day-long party that Senior House (a dorm close to my own) throws every year. People show up in costumes, and an actual steer (or the meat poundage equivalent) is roasted over a giant fire pit, and there are cool local bands and fun people. That should be fun. I'm also helping out with security stuff, wandering around the halls and making sure people aren't doing anything sketchy.
- A date(ish)! With a boy unlikely to cause major angst for me or my hallmates! He's a nice guy who moved off of our hall to a fraternity before I arrived. We're going to a fraternity formal event. It'll probably be highly mediocre, but who knows?
